the verses project

Today is a 2-for-0 kind of day.

Music. And art. For free.

The beauty of new cravings is that people like to help you crave them more.

A few months ago, a friend introduced me to yet another “project.”
{Here and here for the others.}

Not sure I would say I crave “projects.”
I simply crave 100% truth coupled with brilliant musicianship.

Introducing . . .Logo secondaryThe Verses Project:
“Musical and visual art to help people memorize and meditate on Scripture.”

But that’s not all.
Their music is simply outstanding, and their art is the icing on the cake.

I mean, whoever heard of a team of sought-after musicians
{e.g. Charlie Hall. Brooks Ritter. Need I say more?}
crafting a verbatim Scripture song each week,
and posting it with a written meditation and a captivating visual representation?

For free.

This just got crazy.

You know the routine.
Like them on Facebook.
Follow them on Twitter.
Then go to theversesproject.com and listen to all their songs.
Join their email list for the weekly releases.
And if you’re like me, you’ll eventually get around to making a “best of” CD.
The way to do it.

And, no, they don’t pay me to say that.
