More Music in March 0.1

Looming before me is a list
of long lists
of amazing Word resources
just waiting to be shared with you.

For the month of March, I’ve decided to bring you 100% music.
Because that list is the longest of them all.
Thank you, Lord, for more and more music of Purity and Perfection.

Hope you enjoy these three beautiful Scripture albums.
And by the way, all three present excellent musicianship.
This is music you will love.

#1: The Corner Room – Psalm Songs, Vol 1

From cornerroommusic.com:
A new collection of ten musical settings of Psalms written verbatim from the ESV Bible,
Psalm Songs provides a fresh and unique way for
children, students, adults, pastors, congregations and others in ministry
to know, sing, share and ultimately love the Word of God.

The next two come from churches and friends in my own area.
As these two are paraphrases,
I strongly suggest you sit down with a copy of the Scriptures and follow along.
Allow these interpretations to draw you to the Word itself.

#2: Immanuel Music – Hold Us Fast

hold-us-fast-cover-WEB

Just released in January, this album is based on the first five Psalms, two songs for each Psalm.

Visit their website at immanuelmusic.org or listen for FREE here before purchasing.

The next album has been around a few years, so maybe it’s old news.
But old news that’s good news is always worth sharing again.

#3: Sovereign Grace Music – Grace Has Come: Songs from the Book of Romans

From sovereigngracemusic.org:
It’s a daunting task to produce an album based on the book of Romans. But in these sixteen songs we’ve attempted to capture some of the glorious truths of Romans that are cause for endless amazement. Truths of our depravity, the need for repentance and faith, God’s provision of justification and forgiveness through the substitutionary death of Christ.

Happy March! May yours be filled with music.
And not just any music. But music that restores the soul.

  1. Thank you for sharing this list of beautiful SCRIPTURE music. I’ve only listened to a couple so far. Eager to hear more.

I plan to share the Psalm 23 video with a Facebook group that is currently working through a Nourish Your Soul: 30 Day Challenge. Our passage today was Psalm 23:2-3.
