What is greater than death?

Life.
Life is greater than death.

But everything within us screams otherwise.

What is the one thing we fear most? Death.
What is the one thing we cannot prevent? Death.
What does every pain and heartache and hospital bill tell us? Death.

We must face the inevitable. Death is coming.

For death is the result of that one man’s sin.

Adam.

He sinned, so we sin.
He died, so we die.

Unlike Jesus.

He never sinned, but we did.
And then he died, so we don’t have to.

For the free gift of eternal life is the result of that one Man’s death.

And of its universe-exploding reversal.

Romans five sixteen.

Eternal life is not like death.
No.

Eternal life is greater.
