Today, I Weep

Today, I weep.

For things are not as they should be.

Corruption is envied, and holiness is mocked.

Wars rage in every corner of the globe.

Real, ugly, despicable wars.

Skin color matters too much. And doesn’t matter enough.

Babies aren’t given their first breath.

Perpetrators get off scot-free.

Any and all romantic love is praised. Except of a faithful man and his loyal wife.

Common sense and anything remotely resembling truth is gone.

The world is upside down.

today i weep

Enter the One who has conquered.

Who is worthy.

Who can take the scroll and open its seals.

Who can and will complete the grandest Story with the most glorious, ironic “The End.”

Who will make the world right again.

Today, I weep.

And I’ll weep until then.

And I began to weep loudly because no one was found worthy to open the scroll or to look into it. And one of the elders said to me, “Weep no more; behold, the Lion of the tribe of Judah, the Root of David, has conquered, so that he can open the scroll and its seven seals.” Rev 5:4-5
